About
Due to the Syrian civil war, Syrian refugees are escaping towards neighboring countries. An NGO based in Turkey with branches in Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq has to face the challenge to host and manage them. The CMT has to deal with lack of funds, high number of refugees and hostilities from local population and governments.


You represent a member of the CMT, and it is your responsibility to engage with the unfolding crisis and initiate your crisis response plan to resolve the challenges you're facing.

Notes

This is a MEDIUM length scenario suitable for teams and authors with SOME experience with crisis management. Duration is roughly one hour, including discussion. 

This is a facilitated exercise with the training audience working in parallel as solo players. The player will be required to role-play as their organisation, and the Facilitator should be comfortable with assigning the relevant permissions.

There is also the option for the Facilitator to role-play as various stakeholders to create a more dynamic experience.

Pattern of Life content is provided and is desirable but not mandatory.
